Piercing Storage Tube Caps

The PP or TPS series pipettors are capable of piercing the caps on a rack of 96 storage tubes, as shown in these videos. A fixed tip head with stainless steel tips is used. This option requires a hold down plate for the pipettor deck and a modification to the pipettor.
